Eye Examination
Your eye examination with the optometrist Mr Patel, will include an discussion about your eyesight, ocular history, family medical history and lifestyle.
He will measure your eyesight by asking read off the letter chart and test your eyes for binocularity, Focusing and Ocular Motility (tracking).
Depending your age he will measure your eye pressure by blowing gentle puffs of air onto your eye with the tonometer and then test your eyesight for any blindspots with our computerised visual fields screener.
An external and internal eye health assessment completes the examination process.
Finally he will test your eyesight for any defects with the trial lenses followed by a summary of his findings and any advice.
This is necessary to detect conditions and diseases such as:
Glaucoma
Cataracts
Diabetes
Hypertension
Retinal Disorders
Corneal Disorders
