Our Team
The team is more of a family, a small close-knit organisation where everyone is valued and is essential to the running of the practice. The team is led by Kishor Patel.
Kishor took over from David Arnold in Summer 2000. He graduated in 1993 receiving a Bachelor of Science in Optometry from The City University, London. A year later he became a registered optometrist by passing clinical examinations set by the College of Optometrists.
Over the next several years, Kishor worked for a number of organisations from high street opticians to working for a northwest hospital eye department - a post he has retained to date. This ensures he keeps abreast with changes in all aspects of eye care along with being able to practice specialist contact lenses fitting and aftercare.
He decided to buy Mr Arnold's practice, as he wanted to carry out unhurried eye examinations with the latest equipment in an unpressured working environment. And by being the sole optometrist also provide a long-term continuity of care to his patients. To date he feels he has achieved these ideals and so draws considerable satisfaction from meeting his patients and examining their eyes.
